Although fitted with cutting-edge technology and impressive performance, Bugatti Chiron is much behind its far-reaching ancestor, the class 57S Cabriolet, produced just eight decades ago.
Proof that the collection of rare old timers is a profitable business is this classic Bugatti, which will be offered for sale at RM Sotheby’s auction house in March next year.
It is one of only three produced models of the Type 57S Cabriolet model from 1937, made in the Vanvooren workshop.
Although never fully restored, this Bugatti pearl is preserved in its original state and has all the necessary documentation.
After nearly 80 years of existence, the vehicle will be auctioned for the first time, and the organizer expects it to reach the price of as much as 8.5 million dollars.
